Elizabeth Street Café was opened in December 2011 by chefs Larry McGuire & Tommy Moorman and the team behind Lamberts Downtown Barbecue and Perlas Seafood & Oyster Bar. After fancy barbecue and preppy seafood the duo found themselves eating and craving pho, báhn mì, bún, and spring rolls and wanting it in their South Austin neighborhood.
Elizabeth Street Café is: classic French specialties, Stumptown coffee, a beautiful garden patio, bustling lunch, beer, wine, sake, vegetarian specialties, croissants, baguettes, pho, curry, national newspapers, dog friendly, kid friendly, to-go food, ride your bike over here and hang-out kind of place.
Free parking is available in our front lot, next door at 1503 South First and along Elizabeth Street. Please respect our Bouldin Creek neighbors and do not block their driveways.

"Elizabeth Street Café is an escape from the ordinary. As chef/owners Larry McGuire and Thomas Moorman have proven at Lamberts and Perla's, dining out isn't just about being well fed, it's about being transported."
— Karen Spezia, Tribeza Magazine
"Part of the beauty of the Elizabeth Street space is that it manages to cater to a range of dining experiences — the casual bar-stool-at-the-counter meal, the cozy bistro-feeling meal, the communal share-a-table meal and lastly, the sun-drenched outdoor meal."
— Jackie Rangel, Culturemap
